HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise that typically ranges from 4 to 30 minutes. These short yet intense workouts have been shown to improve athletic capacity, overall condition, glucose metabolism, and provide weight loss benefits. However, HIIT may not be as effective for treating hyperlipidemia and obesity or improving muscle and bone mass.
